I provide psychological services to children, adolescents and their families. I firmly believe that each young person's experience of the world is unique and, as such, I am flexible in my approach and draw upon a variety of evidence-based treatment models based on the needs of each individual.
I am passionate about offering a safe and non-judgemental space where difficulties and experiences can be explored sensitively. I place a significant emphasis on developing positive collaborative working relationships with the young people that I work with. My ultimate aim is to improve the mental health and sense of wellbeing of your child/adolescent.
Finding a Psychologist for your child can feel like a difficult and daunting process, so please feel free to contact me if you have any questions and/or to arrange an initial no-obligation telephone call. We can discuss the reasons you are thinking of accessing sessions for your child, what might work best for them and whether I am the right person to help.
I work with children and young people experiencing a variety of emotional and behavioural challenges, such as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, phobias, trauma related symptoms and attachment difficulties.
The main models I use are Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT); Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) and attachment-based therapies.
I offer both in person and online sessions on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays during term time.
Sessions are typically 50-minutes long and are charged at £100.
