Every problem has a solution!

How I can help you..

It's my belief that nearly all conditions are treatable, but a good treatment plan needs to be individual and flexible.

I don't follow any specific formula or method - rather, I use a toolkit drawn from many disciplines, including hypnotherapy where I may record individual audio files that will help you relax and overcome your anxieties.

Knowing how to relax is a big step on the road to recovery.I specialise in depression, anxiety, OCD, eating disorders, phobias, PTSD, anger issues and addictions, but the approach is applicable to most conditions.

I believe in working towards a solution (rather than digging into the past to discover root causes hidden in the past) and in being the catalyst to help clients bring about changes that they want to make and to overcome barriers and difficulties that are holding them back.

I am a firm believer in treating the individual, rather than the condition. I like to focus on the goals of my clients to work with them to get them where they want to be, by endeavouring to see the world through their lensI use a variety of techniques, drawn from many sources including NLP, CBT, Human Givens and hypnotherapy. As such I don’t rely on any one particular school of therapy, and I can be flexible and adaptable in my approach.

About me

After many years working in IT and data privacy, I followed my interest and passion and retrained as a solution-focused therapist. I am trained in and use techniques from a wide-range of different forms of psychotherapy, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Person-centred Therapy, Hypnotherapy, Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), Human Givens and many others.

My approach is to use the parts that best suit the needs of my clients, and to work with them to make effective changes to their lives.

In addition to my therapy practice, I have been volunteering for Samaritans for over 11 years and I have volunteered for Surrey Drug and Alcohol Care (SDAC) in the past. In my spare time I love sport and have recently taken up paddle-boarding.
