I aim to provide a warm, open, and non-judgmental space to explore difficulties which can feel hard to make sense of alone. I have several years’ experience working in NHS mental health services supporting people with a wide range of presenting issues including; anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, bereavement, trauma and work-related stress.
I have previous training in the arts and welcome working with a creative approach if this feels helpful.
I am not tied to one model of therapy and draw from humanistic and psychodynamic approaches to best support each individual and their experience. It can be hard to make the decision to start therapy and daunting to find a therapist.
Prior to re-training as a therapist, I worked in highly competitive and commercially driven environments. I understand the demands and difficulties which can be elicited from work related stress, the complexities of team dynamics within this context and long hours.
