I specialise in people’s life issues and initially adopt a humanistic viewpoint in which I believe that you hold within yourself the knowledge and wisdom to understand and overcome your challenges. In other situations, I can offer more direct approaches.
I am also trauma, addiction, and boarding school aware.
I believe that both you and your journey are unique and that you are the best placed to explore and grow into your full potential. In our sessions I will bring the multiple theories and skills developed through my research and formal counselling training, as well as my vulnerability and a preparedness to walk alongside you in your journey of discovery.
I take the ethics of confidentiality, privacy, counselling, and your welfare as the building blocks that allow me to offer a space of trust, safety, and acceptance within which you will experience being listened to by someone trained to listen and reflect your thoughts and feelings.
As trust develops my hope is that you can take the leap of faith and experience being able to say what is on your mind, is surfacing in your emotions, or has been buried deep within.
